ARREARS OF SC/CC

The Town Council needs the co-operation of the residents in paying their service charges promptly to avoid unnecessary late payment charges. Prompt payment of SC/CC will facilitate the Town Council in the effective management of the Town Council. For your convenience, you may pay through the GIRO System. The forms are available from Potong Pasir Town Council during office hours or we could mail them to you upon request.


ILLEGAL PARKING OF MOTORCYCLES

It is an offence to park motorcycles at the void deck. The parking of motorcycles is a danger to children. The Town Council has recently passed by-laws to clamp illegal parking of motorcycles at void decks. The by-laws came into operation on 1st October 1998. Motorcyclists are advised to refrain from parking at void decks. Offending motorcycles shall be clamped, detained under the by-laws of the Town Council, with a fine not exceeding $1,000.00.

ILLEGAL STORAGE ON COMMON CORRIDORS/LIFT LANDINGS

The Town Council have noticed that many residents have been making use of the common corridors as storage areas. We are very concerned about such irresponsibility because it is very unsightly and obstruction. More importantly, these items are potential fire hazards and they may give rise to mosquito causes breeding.
The Town Council would like to remind all residents to refrain from storing items along common properties Such items found along the common property will be treated as illegal dumping and the Town Council will not hesitate to take action for the benefit of other residents.



STOP FEEDING THE PIGEONS

Residents are advised not to throw food to attract pigeons in public areas. Food contaminated with pigeon droppings cause food poisoning. Droppings also dirty cars, windows and laundry. The Environmental Public Health Act will impose a fine of $1,000 for offenders.



POTONG PASIR WELFARE FUND

The Chairman and the Town Council do care and are concerned for our residents in Potong Pasir. "The Potong Pasir Welfare Fund" has been formed to raise funds for hardship and needy families residing in Potong Pasir . All well wishers and residents from Potong Pasir are welcome to donate generously towards this fund.

BLOCK WASHING

All residents are advised to remove all personal belongings along the corridor during the monthly block washing day.
Kindly refer to the notice boards for the actual day of washing.
